It’s been a busy week here at Spark, with our Grand Opening coming up next Saturday, May 5. Our open house and Maker Show from 12-5 PM will be a great chance for us to showcase the new space.
Tomorrow, Saturday May 28, at 12 PM we’re hosting a work party to help get the Makerspace ready for the big day. Please come help sort, clean, and organize!
This week we also hosted a special viewing of stop-motion films by Expressiones resident artist Rodrigo Orozco from Mexico and Anu-Laura Tuttelberg from Estonia. The viewing was followed by an artist talk and reception.
Rodrigo is an amazingly talented artist, sculptor, and filmmaker! We were very lucky to meet him during his last stop before returning home to Mexico. You can find out more about Rodrigo here.
