Space Makerspace is a community based, members-driven organization on a mission to eliminate barriers to creativity and innovation. It does this by providing a space, tools, and guidance in a mutually supportive and collaborative creative community. Spark is proud to serve as an oasis for the creative minds of southeastern Connecticut.

Recently relocated to its new home on State Street, New London, Spark Makerspace will use this generous grant to accommodate a paid Executive Director, make needed infrastructure improvements, and expand membership by providing scholarships to applicants in need of financial assistance - all of which support its mission and on-going growth and development goals.
