Policy Updates and Reminders
PrintShop
-
Strong-smelling or caustic chemicals are prohibited.
-
Community screens may be reserved for up to three weeks, by labeling them with red tape, your name, and the date the screen was coated. Unlabeled screens will be assumed to be available for use.
-
Personal screens: Personal screens may be stored in the Printshop for up to three weeks, and must be properly labeled with red tape, your name, and the date the screen was brought into the shop. After 3 weeks, you will be informed via email that you must remove your screen from community storage. You may ask for more time if, e.g., you are away and cannot get to Spark. If your screen remains in community storage longer than 4 weeks, and no other arrangements have been made, we will assume it has been abandoned. Personal screens are stored at your own risk and must be separately labeled with your name, in addition to red tape labeling as noted.
-
Unlabeled or expired screens are not protected from being reused by members.
-
Approved community partners follow separate storage arrangements.
-
Screens will be reviewed on the first and third Wednesday of each month, and expired community screens will be washed out and made available to others.
-
Reminder: Everyone is responsible for washing out their own screens when finished. Please don’t leave this work for the Printshop Leads.
