Hi, I'm Nike. I am interested in thoughtful, generous, and silly things. I like zines, candy, punchy, manifesto-like statements, and I'm a really good helper. I am also a lead of the printmaking station here, and can help you out whenever you have any questions about screen printing!

Drawing Night

Every Friday Night 6-8pm (Except Holidays)

A great way to start to the weekend!

Friday nights 6 - 8pm, we will meet 225 State Street in New London at Spark Makerspace. Every meetup will be a bit different, from voluntary figure drawing (all that want to draw will sit in rounds to model) to field trips drawing around town. Please bring a sketchbook or paper, and drawing supplies (pencils, charcoal, etc.) there will be limited supplies available in our art space. This is an open night with no instruction just artists working together on the skills of observation and sketching and refining their craft in drawing.

Suggested donation of $5 for ongoing programming at Spark.

Free for Members

Our amazing printmakers put together a small curated selection of prints (block, linoleum, screenprints, etc) to help show aspiring printers and members of the public the basics of this art form! While this is not a full structured course on printmaking, participants can get their feet wet in this new medium and walk away with a small number of prints that they made themselves!

Suggested donation of $5 for Non-Members to help cover the cost of materials (ink, screens, blocks, etc).
