CLASSES AND EVENTS
a great time to meet our community
Every Thursday 6pm-9pm
Led by our Electronics Group, this weekly social meetup is a casual gathering of techies and anyone looking to learn a new technical skill. 3D-Printing, soldering, drone-flying, virtual reality, and many other topics may be discussed or tinkered with.
This event is free to all! Come with your questions, your skills, and/or your projects to show off!
Every Friday 6pm-8pm
Every week, we set up a still life or take turns modeling for a casual skill-building drawing session for artists (and non-artists) of all skill levels.
This event is free to all! No experience necessary, and all supplies are provided! Donations to help cover costs are graciously accepted but not required.
COMMUNITY PRINT NITE
Our amazing printmakers put together a small curated selection of prints (block, linoleum, screenprints, etc) to help show aspiring printers and members of the public the basics of this art form! While this is not a full structured course on printmaking, participants can get their feet wet in this new medium and walk away with a small number of prints that they made themselves!
This event is free to Spark Members, but a small donation may be requested from Non-Members to help cover the cost of materials (ink, screens, blocks, etc).
All of our classes and events will show up here as soon as we know they're happening, so this is the first and best place to keep yourself in-the-know!
We keep our class sizes low to ensure the best possible experience for our students, so remember to reserve your spot early or risk missing out!
We use EventBrite for all classes and event ticket sales!
Remember to purchase your tickets online to reserve your spot before they're sold out!
Our Fiber Arts (any craft involving fabric or fibers) station hosts this meetup on a regular basis to help expose the community to fun or cost-saving projects using sewing machines, sergers, knitting needles, and more! While these meetups are usually themed, anyone with a question about these tools is welcome to attend and get help with their project!
This event is free to the public, but depending on the project, we may request a small donation to cover costs of materials or equipment use.
